In follow-up to last years thread, lets hear your suggestions for the next edition.
I'll try to keep an updated list of the suggested guests in this thread in the main post, and with the amount of times suggested.

Not really actors, since they would have their own stands as a vendor, but hey: -The Mega64 guys, they don't really visit non-american cons, but they're a blast to have, they could do a Q&A as well. -The Rooster Teeth guys, known primarily from Red vs Blue, but also do short films now. You might have seen their Angry Birds movie trailer (since it hit 10 million views today). They too are blast to have (especially when those Mega64 guys are around), and they love Belgian beer. I could mail them (again) but I guess that wouldn't help as much as a mail from the organization would

Actors of Merlin! I would love Colin Morgan to be there. Isn't he just the cutest thing on the telly since My Little Pony or something?Or just get me one of these knights. -rrr- Or just Anthony Stewart Head, because he is well-known for both the Buffy-verse as well as Merlin, Doctor Who, Little Britain and tons of other things. MORE Harry Potter actors. Just one is enough though (working at the photoboot I can imagine what a hell it would be if you would get TWO Tom Feltons at the same day :-P No thanks, let's stick to one, haha.) The two actors which I have in mind have very popular characters and are great persons as well: Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) - who is the biggest Harry Potterfan within the actors-club. I bet they would definately appeal to the same people as Tom Felton did. Many people make the comparison between Matthew's younger years and his recent years to the evolution of Magikarp to Gyarados. At some point, he just became AWESOME. He looks like Clive Owen's younger brother, don't you agree? Evanna is such a big fan of the series herself, it just would be great to have her at the convention, I think she would love it too. I saw atleast 5 Luna Lovegood cosplayers, so her character is definately popular. Oh how I love her - just as a fellow fan - she's really great. Oh wait, these are ACTOR suggestions. Whoops. Wrong page. Ah well. She belongs on the same page as Matthew Lewis so I'll leave her here.

I agree with jessie. Another HP guest would be great, but one at the time. So Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) or James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley).
And if possible, but unlikely, maybe one of the 3. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson or Rupert Grint. But only if you do a system with them like with JCV. A limited amount of autographs and photoshoots on each day. Otherwise it will be crazy.
And I'm up for any Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, Merlin, LOTR, BSG, Heroes, Lost, Charmed, Harry Potter, Firefly guest that hasn't visit FACTS before.

I totally agree with HP guests XD It doesn't have to be Daniel or something. There are enough actors in those 8 movies to pick reasonable guests. Matthew or Evannah would be really awesome. Or Alan Rickman XD He's very very popular. Or the twins Getting Tom to FACTS was a very good idea. Many people I know just came because of Tom. Other HP actors next year will attract even more people, believe me. We're talking about the MOST successful franchise ever, you know XD More HP merchandise would be great to.

I also wouldn't want TOO many actors from HP at the same time. Just one is enough, you know. We (= poor young Harry Potterfans) do not have enough money to get 3 autographs at the same time and it would be a shame to make the fans choose. So just 1 each year... (Or the Phelps twins, but you can't seperate them. Lol. I wonder what they charge now? As much as 1 or do they give a sort of discount or something because there's two of them? Interesting...)
Alan Rickman - keep dreaming. The man is too serious for conventions. I don't think it will ever happen. Not ever.

Alan Rickman doesn't do conventions. Pity, but it is his choice. " the MOST successful franchise ever". Yes and No!!! At the moment it is. But over 30 years? yeah, it will still be very succesfull. And don't forget both Star Wars and Star Trek exist respectively 34 and 45 years. And still have one of the largest fanbase. Even young people who weren't born yet. So it is one of most succesfull franchises, but the best ever, I doubt it. Hope I make some sense?

I would really like to meet Anthony Daniels and Dave Prowse: I´d appreciate it. Both are great Star Wars Actors. If I had to choose, I would rather meet Anthony, because I never met him before. Billy Dee Williams would be great as well

Billy Dee Williams was present at FACTS last year? @grievous: I could argue with you on that. I always say that the popularity of the fandom can be measured by the creativity of the fans. So can the size of the fandom. How do I measure it? www.fanfiction.netAlmost every fandom you can imagine has a seperate place for stories written by the loyalest of fans. The amount of stories that fans wrote for Star Wars? 27,240 The amount of stories that fans wrote for Harry Potter? 555,889 End of discussion. ;-) Edit: and just for the heck of it. Star Trek numbers: StarTrek: Deep Space Nine (1,194) StarTrek: Enterprise (3,734) StarTrek: Other (1,291) StarTrek: The Next Generation (2,661) StarTrek: The Original Series (3,922) StarTrek: Voyager (6,910) And: Merlin (8,949) Pirates of the Caribbean (19,213) Doctor Who (31,660) Lord of the Rings (45,563) Considering that Merlin just started its 4th season, I would say it is going rather well. ;-) But please, do not say that Harry Potter is NOT the most popular franchise ever. ;-) Only time will tell. And I think it will be. Mwoehahaha. (You can quote me on this in 30 years, promise!)

"Star Wars actors: Anthony Daniels, Andy Secombe, Frank Oz, Temuera Morrison, Ian McDiarmid, Peter Mayhew, Matt Sloan, Zach Jensen, Jerome Blake, Jesse Jensen, Mark Hamill, Dave Prowse, " I totally agree with you, but I don´t think that they could get Mark Hamill or Ian McDiarmid. The rest could be possible.

And I think it will be. Mwoehahaha. (You can quote me on this in 30 years, promise!) I'm kinda backing up Grievous here. Let me first say that I do slightly prefer Harry Potter (but only the books) over Star Wars (and I've seen very little of Star Trek). But measuring the popularity by fanfiction (also quantity vs quality, even Tom Felton thinks a lot of the fanfiction is creepy)? I think that it gives a wrong number. Though people all ages know Harry Potter and love it as well, I'm pretty sure that most(!) fans (as HP is quite "new") are not that old. I grew up with Harry Potter, so I'm in that group. Star Wars on the other hand has been around for so long that it's got a huge amount of fans in all age groups. Same goes for Star Trek probably. And I'm pretty sure the fanfiction is mostly written by young people... I'm not quite sure if I'm actually clear. But it's the same way as saying that Star Wars has the biggest fandom because it has the most merchandise (and well, you don't keep making stuff if people don't buy it). I think it's rather pointless to argue about it, as it can't be proven who's got the bigger fanbase anyway

I'd love to see more Harry Potter actors/actresses:
- Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) (I'm sure she'd love to come!! She's a big fan of fantasy herself, I'm sure she'd have a really good time) - Scarlett Byrne (Pansy Parkinson) (Scarlett goes wherever Evanna goes, they're like a golden duo, it would be great to see them both!) - Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown) - Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) - Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) - James & Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley)
