Gregory "Greg" Capullo (born March 30, 1962) is an American comic book artist and penciller, best known for his work on Quasar, X-Force, Angela and the main artist on Spawn. Capullo started off as an aspiring self-taught artist. He was influenced by John Buscema who Capullo has referred to as "the master of the human figure". He began his artistic career with a job in commercial advertising but soon was noticed for his talent as an inker and penciller and began on projects involving his artwork. Greg Capullo also had his own creator-owned, written and drawn comic The Creech, published via Image Comics. These were two three-issue miniseries. Currently ("comicwise") he is the cover artist for the series Spawn and the artist on Image Comics' "Haunt", developed by Robert Kirkman and Todd McFarlane. Apart from comics, he's been involved in several projects such as pencilling for the Korn album Follow the Leader and the Disturbed album, Ten Thousand Fists, and being part of the crew who worked on the animated sequences in the film The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys (2002).   |

*Starts collecting his spawn comics together, ready to get signed at FACTS.* This is so exciting. Don't think I will have enough with 2 full days (EB ticket included) to do everything. And not all the guests have been announced so far. Time to go back to work on that timemachine then. |

@ sathomaso : are you really coming over from Austria to visit FACTS? Sir, YES, Sir! I do have a buddy from Germany who visits F.A.C.T.S. every year (and who btw is also a fan of Capullo's art), so I'll join him in October. Due to his work-schedule he can only attend on Sunday, but I would prefer both Sat and Sun. We'll see. Really can't wait! |

Some news on sketches, prices and the artists: Greg is available for an Autograph Signing, which means he will sign your memorabilia items on the spot. Aside from that Greg is also looking forward to doing many Portfolio Reviews. Unfortunately Greg will not be doing any sketches or commissions. Portfolio Reviews: upcoming artists can get pointers/tipstricks/hints etc in presenting their art to Greg!

no sketches/commissions. He does not do any of those ever...not here nor in the USA. He wants art to be HIS art always. i already thought something like that, because i didn't found many sketches or commissions on the internet. i'll have to be happy with a signed comic ;D |
