I must say I was extremely pleased with this year's edition! My biggest complaint last year was with the bootleg Anime DVD's that were sold everywhere. I'm glad to see the FACTS team has finally sorted out that problem as I didn't see any bootlegs at all this year! Great job! I'm already looking forward to next year's edition, keep up the good work!

It was great! I had lots of fun, and as usual not enough time to see everything I wanted, losing lots of time during the cosplay contest: when you're the 11th competitor of the 3rd theme, there's a long wait... Next year, we'll be back for more!!!

I can happily say that I'm satisfied too. Great edition, enough variety to make everyone happy. The number of official anime DVD's is steadily increasing, while the bootlegs are almost reduced to zero. Keep it up! Too bad we'll have to wait another year for the next edition...

After all, what better way to spend the day, then to go Rope Skipping with Daniel Logan, and then go with a gun to the Cantia, cause there was a hair in his drink ;D

The cosplay act wasn't an act..you should call it cosplay catwalk or something. Cause an act is an act not posing. People who worked on a script for their act got ripped off. Kagemaru from our cosplay group made 3 pages of script so....thats a big rip -off So don't call it an act if the best you can do is a catwalk...

You might have come on this forum a bit earlier or sent the organisors a mail concerning the way the cosplay contest usually goes on FACTS. That way, you would have know there are no acts (I believe that is due to time restrictions, FACTS team, correct me if I'm wrong). The organisors and people on this forum are quite willing to give you any information you might need to go to FACTS prepared and happy. And no-one stops you from behaving like the character you're consplaying while walking on the stage. Last year our group consisted of a very proud Elf, an amazon, an assassin and a BEKM (Biologically engineered killing machine - a monster) and we walked the stage according to our roles: proudly, bored and "don't mess with me", alert and hunched.

I must agree with Serenity here. We never said anything about cos' play acts. All we mentioned is that there would be a cos' play competition, i.e. a competition to determine who was wearing the best costume. A simple e-mail to the organisation and/or a question on this forum would have allowed you to find that out. So, I am sorry if you lost time on preparing for an act you couldn't bring on stage, but you should have asked first. And, indeed, Serenity, time constraints are the reason why we have to limit the time spent on the cos' play competition.

I am satisfied, but I think there's such a thing as FACTS beging too big. And this year, it was too big. There was so much to see that I didn't have the time to watch the projection and I only went to the Anthony Daniels Q&A. All my other time went to go back and forth between rooms and buying things. Maybe next year I'll apply for a job at FACTS, I know it's not payed (or is it?). e-mino, I wanted to congratulate you on your effort of you and your team to keep FACTS so good each year, but you were always on the run and talking with people, so I do it like this Thanks man!

My compliments to the FACTS team, as I think this was one of the best organized editions ever (and considering I've attended them all since edition 2, that's saying a lot). In this case, bigger really meant better. I also appreciate the fact that there was a nice balance between the different genres, something which was sometimes missing from previous editions. Maybe one less positive remark is that there were times it got a little bit too crowded (especially Saturday morning) and you were barely able to move. But I guess this comes with events such as these and it somehow shows that FACTS is extremely succesful. So keep up the good work and see you next year!

Little question for Aioira, as wich saint would you be coming ?
Also i've read about the poster from START WARS, if someone is interested in a poster from STAR WARS Ep III Revenge of the Sith, please let me know i stil have about 40 posters left. I would be more than happy to send them to you for free (in exchange for a drink at the cantina at FACTS next year)

It was my third time at FACTS, but the first time I went on saturday. I agree it was too crowded on saturday and it was hot (but I was prepared for that)! Anyway I loved it, cause I found all the stuff that I was looking for (and for a good price)! I love FACTS, can't wait for FACTS 2007!
