Steve Niles posts about F.A.C.T.S. and Star Wars artist Sarah Wilkinson on his messageboard. There may be some other posts on there by some "Grafunkel", but that's purely coincidental. ;D

Steve Niles writes The Simpsons! Bart Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror #14 - by Hernandez, Niles & Fabry Bart Simpson spins some thrillifying chiller-diller horror stories with a little help from some of comicdom's most innovative storytellers! First up, modern masters of horror comics Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) and Glenn Fabry (Preacher) concoct a dread-filled tale of woe, when a freak solar eclipse leads to an onslaught of vampire attacks, and the people of Springfield learn that there is nothing to fear but Nosferatu himself! Then independent comic creator and magical realist Gilbert Hernandez (Love and Rockets) re-invents one of his favorite cult films, Frankenstein Conquers the World, featuring Homer Simpson as a gluttonously destructive force of nature - so what else is new?

Man. ... Oh man. ... He and Sarah Wilkinson were the main reason I came to F.A.C.T.S. this year. I've known them (and their work) both for a long while now, and it was an awesome experience to finally meet them and talk with them in person. (Yes, it's that same picture again ) A genuinely nice guy, took plenty of time to chat, sign my stuff ( 30 Days Of Night "Lilly" poster, already signed by Templesmith, 30 Days Of Night - Dark Days, Fused #1, an original page from Cal McDonald, also signed by Templesmith...), and he included some extras... sweeeeet. ;D ( City Of Dust is stunning!) AND I got a hug from him and Sarah!!! What could possibly beat that?

STEVE posted this in his facebook Man, it’s been awhile since I’ve written an update.
I’ve been up to my eyeballs in work and personal stuff (fun, fun). The good news is, after a short break of releases, there will be all sorts of new stuff coming.
I am working on a new series with Bernie Wrightson called THE GHOUL for IDW and a seriously twisted, gruesome ghost story with artist/madman Glenn Fabry for Wildstorm called LOT 13. When I am able to post art for both of these, you will nuts, so go buy diapers.
I also have four, yes four new pitches in at DC that I am waiting to hear back about.
CRIMINAL MACABRE will continue at Dark Horse and we are getting the first BLOODY PULP book ready as we speak. Kelley Jones turned in some insane art for the first volume, THE Y INCISION.
Scott Hampton and Kelley Jones and I have several creator-owned books we are working on, but are waiting to pitch until the market clears up a bit.
The DARK DAYS film moves along fast. I'll have updates shortly though some of it already leaked (because I have a big mouth) so you might know already.
Mostly I am locked in my house 24/7 (now that I’m back from Seattle, Calgary and Utah) and working on my new novel as well as a video game. Of course I can’t say anything about either so consider this a big-ass tease.
Hmmm, what else. I saw Wolverine. It sucked. They made him all soft and squishy. Truly hated it. Not as bad as The Spirit, but pretty bad.
I’m sure there’s more, but I have caffeine to ingest and things to write.
Did anyone finish Gotham After Midnight? I’d love to hear some feedback. I don’t read reviews so I rely on you folks.
How are you guys? Good I hope.
