DEADPOOL: MERC WITH A MOUTH #6 Written by VICTOR GISCHLER Penciled by BONG DAZO Cover by ARTHUR SUYDAM “HEAD TRIP,” PART 6 Space, the Final Frontier. O-ver-ra-ted. Wade, the severed Zombie Deadpool head and Dr. Betty find themselves back on good old Earth, knee-deep in swampy goodness. Seems like Headpool is a little homesick, and everyone agrees the zombie virus should be put safely back into its own dimension. All they’ve got to do is find that d**n dimensional portal. Anyway, you don't think A.I.M, is gonna give up that easy, do you? No way. Just because their space station got itself all blown up doesn't mean they're out of the game. But wait -- who's this surprise guest star? Is it a MAN? Is it a THING? Well, you see where this is going ... Is this enough preview copy to get you to buy the d**n book...because I can go on all night?! 32 PGS./Parental Advisory ...$2.99

Not to sound mean, but some people seem to have hard time grabbing the concept. Signatures will be free (if you buy something from the table), while a sketch will cost you money. There used to be a time (yep, I'm getting nostalgic again) when buying something from the table would also get you a quickie sketch, but considering these days the commissions take up all of their time, there's not time left for that (or much else for that matter, which explains my whole opposition to the concept). There're still some exceptions to this rule, but they are rare. An artist such as Adi Granov (great guy BTW) comes to mind.

I don't want to sound stingy or greedy, but this is all new for me. I only started this year to collect sketches and dedicasses from European artist and I'm used if you buy a album you get a sketch, but I'm willing to pay up to 30€ for a sketch. I just can't afford more, because there is so much I want on facts

Signatures will be free (if you buy something from the table), while a sketch will cost you money. actually...it depends on the artist, his experience at conventions and his way of working. So different artists have different ways... There used to be a time (yep, I'm getting nostalgic again) when buying something from the table would also get you a quickie sketch, still applicable for some (other) artists. , but considering these days the commissions take up all of their time, there's not time left for that (or much else for that matter, which explains my whole opposition to the concept). on the other hand...try and see it from their point of view. They take time off their huge workload, time away from their family... Some artists really need to make up for that loss of time one way or the other and they then take on commissions to a] please the fans that long for a detailed painting of thier fav artist b] make some money to support themselves and their loved ones I am NOT saying you have a point...but times have changed and artists have changed their attitudes as well. Maybe so should we. and I'm used if you buy a album you get a sketch, Welll... this is NOT a European artist and that immediately should tell you something Just kidding. But the point I am trying to make is that EVERY artist has different price-ranges, desires, practices, skills and behaviour in regards to every aspect of the art medium. but I'm willing to pay up to 30€ for a sketch. I just can't afford more, because there is so much I want on facts then try to make an arrangement with the artist at FACTS. Most of them are human ( ) and are willing to hear you out...

well i totally support the artist choice to make nice sketches for a few bucks.. they need to eat/drink aswell.. and for a few bucks more .. you'll probable get a great piece of work.. instead of a quicky doodle..
aslong as the prices arent that extreem i totally will support the artists that i consider good enough to buy something decent from..
i mean something good will last for ever.. a quicky is nice but will never replace a great piece of work.

did you pay 75€ for that? I asked a head sketch from Freddy Krueger and that normally was 75€, so that was to expensive for me, but I got two little faces on a poster i bought from Freddy vs Jason vs ash (I'll post a picture in a few days/weeks)

no, this was a 150euro piece ..I thought it was quite expensive (and quite small, no A3) as well, but I could not let the opportunity pass to get a Arthur Suydam commission. I love his work, but expected a wee bit more for the money... But I am still happy I did it
