Must do. Ofcourse it's my opinion, but Star Trek Voyager is the best serie of them all.

I'm so dying of happiness. This is the best guest from all the editions so far. He's very open, funny, easy to talk to. Already know I will have a great time with him.

Just like last year, I bow down before the FACTS-gods.

not really a Star Trek fan and I've only watched the 3 or 4 first seasons of Stargate a long long time ago, but I'm happy for the fans I'm sure he'll make a lovely guest.

YES! I was really moved last year when he took the time for us to record the vid for Youtube and to arrange for Cristopher Judge to come in his place and ever since that I was hoping for him to come this year. Cannot wait to meet Mr Woolsey

Yeah, it was great that he made the effort to record that vid AND get us a wonderful replacement.... still keeping my fingers crossed that he will be here in a few months

My life is soooo much easier then others: I want to be in a picture with the actors, and just pick a nice photo for an autograph on the spot. No matter from what series it is. I have seen them all, Loved most and just want to shake Robert Picardo's hand and say "Thanks you for your totally awesome work". Or something like that.

DARN! My life is NOT easier! Now I have to think of what to say to him and try to be original......

He was really nice and even apologized to the person that was before us that he didn't make it last year...i find him an actor who wants to be there for his fans and appreciated them to! Hope to see him again and maybe the Q&A area will be approved to be much better!

He was a very charming man. Haha. I loved him to bits. Especially his pick-up line at the photoshoot.
"I have seen you before, haven't I?"
"Ehm. No. But I have seen you before... on the telly."

(Duh.)

And then - a huge rofl-moment for me and one of the most memorable moments at FACTS this year...

On the sunday morning we still had loads of pictures to distribute at the Photoshoot-boot of Aztek-TV. Over 50 pictures from the saturday still needed to be picked up that sunday morning. We had a very small table in front of the boot, not too far from the actor's tables.

I had put the pictures on the table in my own special system. Per actor/per gender. And when someone came for his picture, I could get it out really quickly, because it was an easy system.

Suddenly I looked up and Robert Picardo was standing in front of the table.
"Why do you have all the pictures upside down?"
I actually wanted to say that my system was impeccable and that it was the quickest way for me to distribute the pictures to the people that wanted their picture of the day before. But I agreed with him that it was not the best way to "sell" the pictures...

Then Robert stated that he did not think it was fair that his photoshoot was at 4 PM each day. (Also because the pictures of the saturday had not been ready in time, read more about that in the photoshoot topic elsewhere on these forums). And he thought it was fairer if he would have gotten an "earlier" photoshoot on 1 of the 2 days, so that his fans could then get the picture with him signed. Me and one of the guys of Aztek-TV that was sitting next to me completely agreed with him. That would be fairer to the actors. (And then we assured him that we would pass on his advice and would keep it in mind for next year.)

So yeah, he came over to say that and then he went back to his table, haha.
I was like: "ROBERT PICARDO CAME OVER TO THE PHOTO-TABLE OMG!!!!"

Yeah that was fun. Later on the sunday, just minutes before it was 5, I also went up to him, paid the 15 Euros to get the photoshoot picture signed. (By that time we had luckily distributed ALL the pictures of the photoshoots, so every fan could still get the picture signed on sunday!)

He was really really nice. I told him that I totally appreciated his message that he left on youtube last year for us and he told me that he rarely ever cancelled conventions, but that he had no choice last year and that it was nice to be a little courteous to the fans. He was also quite pleasantly surprised by the fact that over the weekend, so many fans had thanked him for leaving that message on youtube, and he said that - if he ever had to cancel a convention again - he would do it again.

So yeah, what a great guest! He was the FIRST FACTS guest I was really impressed by. (I know. I'm hard to impress.) I've never gone up for a signature before, but mister Robert Picardo, he totally rocked!!

The only thing I regret is that I look stupid on the picture with him, haha. Next time I'll try and do an action-picture if there is a cool actor out there. I always hate myself when smiling on pictures. I prefer pictures where I glare the photographer to death.
