Did a search for Firefly, but could only find on Blue Ray... and no BR player. But still a few places I can check out Play.co.uk has it as DVD but there are no Dutch subtitles. English for the hearing impaired only. I don't think there's a version available for Belgium. I 'm searching a wile now for the serie Firefly on DVD , but only on Blue-Ry available. I also want subtitles on it.>:(I just now there is one on simple DVD , i just have to find it!!! :PI've i or anybody else knows where , please post it so we all can enjoy! THANKS!!!

Firefly did not came out on DVD with dutch subs, only Blu-Ray. 100% true. Bought my box a month ago in Saturn. (little bit overpriced) No Dutch subs, only english for the hearing impaired. But it doesn't disturb that much. You get used to it. Even that I watch Serenity after it with english subs.

I find it horrible and hope they're not gonna pull the same trick in the future with loads of other series/films (though eventually they will). Bought mine on www.play.com for only 17€, so that's a fine price (and their packages arrive quite soon).

Several even don't have a region 2 set available at all.

Recently I've started to order films and series from the UK because so many things just don't get a release here. Bit odd though, I once ordered a dvd box from Canada (the box said region 1) and it worked on my region 2 dvd player.

a good reason to switch to blu ray is the region coding issue , most blu rays are region free (u can check this at axelmusic.com) just that not alot people know this.
