Ian Churchill was born on April 22nd 1969 in the UK. His first published comics work was a 'Beast' back-up story in an X-men annual. He went on to do the second Deadpool mini-series for Marvel but came to greater attention when he was teamed with Jeph Loeb for a run on on the 'Cable' on-going series. He published the adventures of his first original super-team : the Coven, through Awesome Entertainment and went on from there to pencil issues of Wolverine and a short stay on the Uncanny X-Men. His DC work includes Superman, Superman/Batman and Titans but is best known for his run on the re-vamped Supergirl series - once again with writer Jeph Loeb. A shoulder complaint took him away from comics for nearly two years, but he recently returned with a short stint on Elephantmen and a run on Marvel's Hulk title most notably introducing the Red She-Hulk, again with Loeb, and utilising a less rendered drawing style! His next work is a creator owned project soon to be published by Image comics called, Marineman. You can find out more about Marineman at: ianchurchillsmarineman.com

Nice one.
I heard he recently changed his drawing style dramatically, so I'm curious to see him at work.

My compliments on the comic guests list so far. Quite impressive, I've to admit. Ian Churchill as been on my want-to-meet list for quite some time. Although I've to admit I'm not a fan of his new more cartoonish art style. Now I'm just hoping it will be more than doing some commissions and that there will be time for some meet and greet and signing sessions. But again, my compliments on the impressive guest list. I know it might sometimes look as if I only criticize, but I also like pointing out when I think something's great!

Some news on sketches, prices and the artists: Ian Churchill told us: "Earlier this year I was charging $100 head sketch, $250 head and torso and $500 full body no background. Everyone seemed perfectly fine with those prices so I see no reason to change them." But Ian also uses a bit of colors and the piece will be commission quality... facts.be/guestshtml/fa_ian_churchill.html
