Okay folks, I suppose this is in the right section...
I noticed some people on these boards were from the Netherlands or from Limburg and whatever and I was wondering how everyone would travel to FACTS this year?
The thing is that I'm already taking 4 people by car so far and another 2 have asked me if I could take them. Well, obviously, I can't cause I don't own a minibus or something. -__-
So I was kind of thinking about maaaaaybe taking the train with the lot of them, from somewhere in Limburg, probably Bilzen or Hasselt or Genk. (One of the three)
From where are all of you coming and how are you coming? Car? Train? Bicycle?
Maybe people could set up carpoolings here? (Though not in my car, lol, it's full already.)
Well, if I'm going by car, I'll be leaving Limburg on saturday morning to arrive well before 10 and I'll leave Gent the sunday evening, once FACTS is over.

Usually I go by train, but this year I'm planning to go by car, because we don't want too much trouble... (my brother is coming as assassin) Plus, if we take the car, we can go to the facts party :3 (the last train leaves at 9 pm >.> )
I do know that there'll be cosplayers taking the train from Hasselt :3 I'm betting at least 5 people...

How about the Eurostar? With the ticket from the Eurostar, you can take the train in Belgium for free too and then you'll get to Ghent too. (When you buy Eurostar tickets, your Eurostar ticket will allow you to travel for free the day of your ticket to or from the Brussels train station). Just a suggestion.
Do you live close to London?

That's still kind of okay, haha. I once travelled, by train, from Hasselt (which is the eastern flemish province of Belgium) to Brussels, to London Waterloo, with the underground to King's Cross, then to ehm ehm... what town was it? Well, can't recall, but it was below Durham and then I took a cab to Durham's Airport. Only took me like... I dunno. 8 hours. XD Haha. Nah, could have been more though. It went by fairly quick to me.

Will you and your friends be dressed up on the train? ^^ No, I am not a cosplayer and my friends are also no cosplayers. Butt I am looking forward to see the other cosplayers at Facts. Reminds me of buying a new camera.

Last year I went by car, cause I had a passenger with me. We carpooled. But previous years I took the train, meeting up with people as I passed Antwerp.
Not sure about this year... if I need to bring people along, then maybe we'll carpool and otherwise I'll take the train again.

By train (via Cologne), then taking the tram to set up camp at the B&B, take a short breath and then back (by tram again) to the ICC and help setting up the exhibition of the Modelbouwclub Willebroek.

How wil i travel to FACTS I'm the great saiyaman, i'll fly of course No i'll be driving with my car, since i'm on duty on FACTS, i wil not be wearing my cosplay all the time, only during my free-moments (IF the bosses let me ) and during the cosplay contest. Last year i missed my entrance at the category anime, Vegeta was stil working Sleeping won't be an option, i wouldn't be able due to the excitment of FACTS and I wil be the VERY first at the entrance door My bag would already've been made begin oktober (except for my lunch that is ;D ) I live at Wetteren, therefor i could take some people with my in my car but the thing is : it wil be very early . .

Last year I went by train, and I went home to sleep and change on Saturday (only to take the train again on Sunday... XD). This year my brother will be cosplaying too (on Saturday) so our parents have agreed to drive us there. He'll be going home with them on Saturday while I'm staying at a friends place and then taking the train home Sunday evening. ^__^
