Starting in his early childhood, David Sondered has always made art and creativity an important part of his life. Years of sketching and painting culminated in the creation of Studio Colrouphobia in 2007, which now does freelance artwork for gaming companies such as Fantasy Flight Games and Faction Wars. David moved from Sweden to Belgium in 2010, where vincinity to a new and innovative artscene combined with the influence of the Flemish Primitives is starting to show in his more recent works. www.freewebs.com/studiocolrouphobia/studio-colrouphobia.deviantart.com/gallery/

Isn't it possible for A4

I'm not sure if it will be A3 or A4 just yet, it depends on the costs, I want to be able to more or less give these away, so they will be less costly then the other prints. I'm finishing it this week and then taking it to the printers for an idea of final price.

Lets go for A4 then I have been painting a little on it today and Im altering the headpose. Probably some people will like it less, but it just became more of a dynamic pose, with a little bit more daring look from the mascott (does she have a name?) I'll be emailing a version to a facts-god shortly and then probably it will be updated here, but I dont want to post progress in deviantart or somesuch right now, lets keep it exclusive to this forum for a week r so

Cheers, I'm finishing the image up this week, no altering of pose will be done from now on, just adding detail (and the sword, of course).
The Poster will be available as an A4 at as reasonable price as I can get.
Buying another poster from me will give you a discount on the Faxa-poster, not sure how much right now, that depends on the productioncost, but atleast 2-3 Euros discount.

Im looking at doing sketches and I will take commissions at the con, though I wont be able to actually paint at the con so all commissions taken will be done in agreement after the convention.
I will put up a pricelist right here later this week for commissions.

Updating a little. Some details (mainly of the boots) wherent really working out so Im making a few alterations of them as I go. The pose stays though Also, in the end, there will be some tweaking of the colours and lighting to make the image come together a little more (The bottom part will be a little darker, to reflect the way the light is flowing etc). Hope you like the wway its coming out. Next post (tomorrow) will be more info about sketcches and commissions. Next week will be info on prices on prints.

Hello, forgive me for not having replied last week as I promised, sometimes life comes in the way. The poster of Faxxa is done, I'm sending a webversion to the FACTS-gods right after posting this so they can put it up in the suitable spot. Prices and prints will come a little later this week or possibly beginning next week (cutting deals with the printers right now). But for now, please keep in mind that I wont be taking card at this year at FACTS as I dont have the time to acquire one of those bankcard machines before the 22nd of October. Sketches and commissions: I will be doing sketches at the con. Since this is my first convention, I do not expect to be overloaded with requests of sketches hence I will spend a little more time on them (that might change for day 2 if day 1 turn out to be heavy on sketch-requests) I will charge a fee for it and that fee will be 10 Euro per 30mins spent on the sketch (plus the right to take a photo of the final sketch). Once done, I will spray the sketch (which will be mostly in led-pencil, possibly I might also do some copic-marker shading, but we will see) with a sealant to make sure the sketh lasts longer. Commissions: I will take commissions at the convention. I charge upfront normally, but for this convention I will charge only a procentage upfront, as I know people want to buy other stuff at the con. My prices are as follows: Busts and Portraits - Minimal Backgrounds 100 Euro 3/4 to Full Character Art - Minimal to no Backgrounds 150 Euro Full illustration - Minimum to full backgrounds included 250 Euro I will charge 10% upfront at the convention for any commissions. I will also start sketching your commission at the convention (unless I have to do sketches for the con itself all days, then I will just sketch out a very quick and rough layout for you and get you the sketch within a week via email). All commissions require two things: an email which I can contact you at and the possibility to pay by paypal (or if your a resident of the Benelux, a possibility to pay to a bank account in Belgium, though If possible I'd like to keep it to paypal since my studio doesnt have a bankaccount in Belgium just yet and I'd be forced to charge you through my personal bankaccount). Promotional and info at the con: I will have an email-list up at my table. We are currently remodeling our website and putting things together properly. A week or two after FACTS our new website will be up and running, and with it a newsletter that will come out bi-monthly (to start off in any case). If you'd like to be kept informed from me or my studio, please write your email down on that list. Also, those on that list are going to have a little raffle for a special price. I will draw the winner on the second day, in the afternoon. If you win and aren't there, then I will email you the good news (since putting your email on the list was your raffle-ticket ) Other things- Not aware of whether you guys know this, but we have a Facebook page and a twitteraccount: www.facebook.com/pages/Studio-Colrouphobia-Concepts-and-Illustrations/20588351315twitter.com/#!/Colrouphobia
