I don't think anyone was as thrilled about Tom Felton attending FACTS as me.
On sunday evening, after the news was announced, I could not sleep. I staid awake until 3 AM!!! Tossing and turning in bed. I do never have sleeping troubles! NEVER! By midnight, I sleep like a baby. Except for last sunday.... d**n. I was hyper.
Kind of logical though, I've been a Potterfan and administrator at Dreuzels.com for the last decade. This is the biggest HP event for me since the release of the 7th book. (And that one was a big blast.)
One thing I want to assure you guys of: HP-fans are NOT Justin Bieber-fans. I think the number of screaming teenage girls will be quite ok. And lastly: we are Europeans, not Americans. Yes, we do fangirl, but we do it with more style. ;-)
I've also been checking at the Dreuzels.com HP community, but the number of people that will come to FACTS is - up to this point - for me - a bit disappointing. So yeah, about a dozen people have eagerly expressed their desire to come, but there are many Slytherins and Drarry shippers and whatever that seem to be unphased by the announcement. I can only wonder what is wrong with them as some of them struck me as the biggest Felton-fans in the area.
But I am so very happy about Tom Felton attending. So happy for all the Harry Potterfans. Looking forward to FACTS very much now!

And I wasn't planning on going this year. Why is that? You have been a loyal visitor during the recent editions. Lots of things have happened in the last months, I also wasn't planning on cosplaying, and probably wont even watch the cosplay competition this year (not sure) just because I lost (all) interest. Then I thought about a reason to go. Photographing? Meh. But then I started thinking I actually want to buy some things that I would have to buy from the internet otherwise and they would be way more expensive. And I have a few friends (international) who want Tom Felton's autograph so don't worry, I'll still be there but not as active as other years.

Hope you'll find my table this time, and come say hi.

I wish I could see my best friend right about now - just send her a text with who's coming. I bet she's squeeing for all of the world to hear and getting her Slytherin stuff out just to make sure it's still there where she last left it. =P
