Your favourite Vampire movie?

Interview with the vampire, obviously. Then comes the movies that are agreable to watch, such as Queen of the d**ned, Underworld, Van Helsing, Blade (the first one, I didn't like the sequels much...). I'm not that much on classics, though. My bad, I know, but I can't get used to it =(

I saw this series last week, diary of the vampire, wich wasn't too bad.

The Vampire Diaries is indeed an awesome serie. Really liked it. Who knows, maybe we can get a guest from the series at FACTS 2010.

Can't agree more, i see twilight/new moon, not as a vampire movie, but a movie about girls and emotions and love, if you take away the vamp/werewolf thing and make the guys types of people (lets say mysterious and jock) it'll be all the same. I just can't see a vampire in something that wears too obvious contacts and sparkles in sunlight.

I was told that vampires die because of sunlight, and live at night, sleep during the day, drink blood, don't care about love, all of that... twilight/new moon ... is not my piece of movie.

But I can understand the fuss and commercialisation of it. It's something like Harry Potter.

John carpenter's Vampires is also a good one. Let's hope they make another instant classic vampire movie in the future.

yes,there is a buffy the vampire slayer movie which actually predates the series.the movie being from 1992 and the series started in 1997 running for 7 seasons.

Bram Stoker's Dracula with Gary Oldman, even though it had Keanu Reeves in it after that Interview with the Vampire and that Dracula with Gerard Butler

2. Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust
3. Underworld (with 'rise of the lycans' as top)
4. the Lost Boys (though I did enjoy it more as a laugh) <3 69 eyes
5. Queen of the d**ned (though the book was a lot better)

I didn't really like Interview with the Vampire that much but weirdly I did enjoy the book. I have no idea why I don't like the film consequently as it is an exact copy of the book... maybe it's Tom Cruise lol.

I love the vampire diaries but I have a lot to catch up since I was stuck in New York due to volcanic cloud, then had training and now I have exams >.>

For some odd reason they have stopped airing the Vampire Diaries. Why can't they show us the entire season and always stops in between. Bunch of nitwits.

Ugh, they do it on every channel with pretty much everything (House, Journeyman, Bones, Vampire Diaries, ...). It's ridiculous.

Don't think I could add much to this great list of vampire films. I'd like to add Hellsing (though it's not a movie but an anime series)

Also "Bitten" with Jason Mewes (Jay from Jay and Silent Bob), very funny vampire film. And Mel Brooks "Dracula: Dead And Loving It" ain't too bad either.

Anyone know if (Lesbian) Vampire Killers is any good? It's supposed to be really funny but haven't seen it yet.

That being said, I'm still hoping for news on the Bubba Ho-Tep prequel, vampires vs Elvis!

Lesbian Vampire Killers is hilarious. (If you like that kind of humor, wich I do)

Saw Daybreakers today. Really good vampire movie. Some things in it were new for a vampire movie. (Atleast I havn't seen the idea before)

Great actors, good story and ofcourse enough blood. I recommend this one.

glad I'm not alone with that opinion I'm mostly annoyed by the undeserved popularity of a series of movies that lacks in so many ways (acting, writing, ...). I'd probably hate it less if it wasn't... everywhere. I started the first book once, but I didn't finish it. I'm afraid I'll have to agree with Stephen King on the matter.

True. Very true. the thing that opsets me most about Twilight is the fact that mothers of teenagers, that get in contact with the books or movies... act like teenagers themselves. A friend of mine told me a story about how 2 office ladies were talking to eachother about "how hot edward and jacob made them". I mean, alot of fandoms have their fans, but I haven't seen a fandom, that's supossed to be for teenagers, where moms are so horny all the d**n time.
