Nice artwork and graphics! The storyline can't match Spirited Away though...

A masterpiece indeed! ;D my personal favorite, besides the great story, magnificent artwork and graphics, is a character that deserves an own show... guess who...? Right, Heen ROCKS! Heen, Heen, HEEN! [glow=red,2,300]SIGH![/glow] (impression, quite difficult!) sorry, I got carried away (AGAIN)

Yeah, it is kind of hard to actually write down Heen's favourite speech ... ;D

I absolutely loved it! Even though it's a long film for an animated movie, when it was finished I was sad because I wanted to continue enjoying the beautiful artwork. As soon as it's available, I'm buying the DVD!
And my personal favourite is Calcifer... those moments where he bites into a fresh piece of wood are cute!

Howl's Moving Castle is my favourite Miyazaki film, though Spirited Away is a close second. I might even go as far to say that it is my favourite animated movie EVER.
I watched the movie with a bunch of kids at work once, they were all between 6 and 12 years old. Their reactions to the movie were so precious. They all loved it to bits too. The girls would be like: "I'm in love with Howl!" and everybody loved Heen. They all asked me to bring it again and when I showed it again a week later, they were STILL glued to the screen.
Trust me, most Disney movies I bring to work don't have that effect. They get bored more easily. I'm telling you, it's a genious movie.

Howl's Moving Castle is indeed a great movie, but so are al the other ones of Studio Ghibli, you call it the best, can I asume that you have seen the most of them?

No, I haven't seen most of them at all... But I doubt any other movie would stir me as much as Howl's Moving Castle. I've seen Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke and Howl. They look best to me - animationwise - anyway.
