I was wondering if you guys have ever heard of this manga. It's written and drawn by Inoue Takehiko, based on Eiji Yoshikawa's novel "Musashi." It's an absolutely gorgeous historical drama about a ronin who became one of Japan's most illustrious swordsmen.
It is legendary! But not for the faint of heart, haha. I was so enchanted by the story and the art that I bought two illustration books of the series, they are amazing.
I just found out it will end this year, sob. And I haven't even managed to get my hands on the latest chapters, a lot of sites where you can read manga online have thrown it off because it is licensed (as much as I respect the artists... but god I hate that word).
I recommend it to everyone. (I have yet to hear from the first person who didn't like it!) So, is there anyone here who has read Vagabond?
