On august 15 (US release date) there will be a new Star Wars movie coming out. Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be a CGI animated sci-fi movie. The Clone Wars takes place between Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The eponymous Clone Wars rage between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic. When Jabba the Hutt's son is taken by a group of renegades, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi depart in search of answers: where is the Hutt's son, and who is controlling this mysterious renegade group? Yoda sends Ahsoka Tano along as Anakin's apprentice. Asajj Ventress, Count Dooku, and General Grievous will also appear. Actors from the live-action films, including Anthony Daniels, Samuel L. Jackson, and Christopher Lee will return to voice their respective characters. Some trailers: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVra0kGhJAMwww.youtube.com/watch?v=e_2CTJYZh_w&feature=related

You know? I wonder if Durge would be in the movie. I loved that character in the comics.

Whoever is going to the Clone Wars in Antwerp on Saturday afternoon, has a really good chance of running into me. (No clue though what I'll be wearing)

Being a bit of a fan of Star Wars, I saw the trailer and various clips on Teh Internets, and I'm a bit dissapointed: I don't know about the story, maybe it kicks ass... but the 3D character design looks uninspired and uninteresting, and the animation seems stiff.
Blah.

Can anyone tell me if Durge is in this movie? He's a bounty hunter that kicks Jedi ass in the comics from Clone Wars.

According to our newspaper it's not worth more than 1 of the 5 stars.

When do you believe newspapers? Everbody has is own opinion about movies. So don't believe everything you read. When after watching The Mummy III it really appeared to earn a 0 in rating. Usually I think the opposite of what the newspaper thinks, but I've seen the trailer when we went to see Wall-E, and I have to say what was in the review kind of got my attention as well... Background and surroundings are perfectly animated, while the main characters all seem to chopped out of wood. There's a very big difference with the animation.

Well, it was the entention to create the characters like these. I know that some people will not like it. Even I was a little bit sad about it. Butt Star Wars isn't about awesome animation (butt I prefer it), It has a great story, finally we will see more of the Hutts. I also just read an article about it. They didn't like it all the lightsaber fights, they say there are to much and there's is to much action. I say on this: FINALLY. And the one who wrote the article was against SW, I think. He already sayed that the Star Wars saga was already to long. Butt, evertone has his own opinion about and I respect those. (As long they don't brake the movie with insultings)

Meh, you have to form your own opinion, the guys who write these reviews in newspapers/magazines often write something based on their own opinion, a couple of days before The Dark Knight was released I read a description somewhere in a book about it and they/him/she gave The Dark Knight 3 stars out of 5, I guess the person(s) who wrote that must have been embarrased a few days later when it entered the box-office at N°1 and movie critics all around the world said it was a exellent movie

Haven't seen The Dark Night and I don't have to intention, but I only heard good things. I just stated what it said... besides usually I don't agree but with The Mummy I was in definite agreement. I think it also depends on how you look at a movie. Oh well, I saw the trailer and if I can go with a minimal amount of spending money, I might go for it...except I don't want to end falling asleep like I did with the last new SW film. Sleeping in cinema isn't all that cracked up to be.

If you don't want to sleep in the cinema, then wait and rent him over a couple of months, then you can fall asleep at home. ;D You have lucky then that no strangers will look at you. ;D
