Heard some long time ago, that he wanted to make a fifth alien movie. But I tought it would be a sequel. To hear that it will be a prequel is so friggin awesome.

Same here, heard the rumor somewhere too. But i fear Sigourney Weaver/ Ripley wil not be part of the cast no more Maybe the prequel wi tell us more about the origins of "the facehuggers"

aha, so it was a prequel!
and yeah, Sigourney cannot be part of the movie since she first met the Aliens in the first movie, too bad, but as long as it's a decent story again (and not some slasher movie like AVP) I'm all in!

Maybe Scott will tell us the story about the spacecraft that was found at LV-426, it was attacked by Aliens aswell before they made contact with humans.

Wow, I really hope these aren't shaky cam Hollywood travesties like AVP. I am totally geeking out. Scott did the original Alien movie, which is a sci-fi classic. So I think making this full circle would probably give the franchise a big boost. 2011 is another year with a lot of upcoming SF releases, including the new Trek.
