This option has been asked for many times before, but it is not possible for FACTS to look into it, because they can't provide secure for those lockers and AFAIK there aren't any lockers in the ICC.

Why do they not use the same system like in Antwerp Sportpaleis or Ancienne Belgique in Brussels? You can leave your belongings there (like a umbrella, jacket,...). When you give the stuff to them, they but they label it and the owner gets the 2nd (same) label. The stuff are put behind a walls and desk so they can watch all the belongings.
If I remember it correctly, FACTS had a similar option a few years ago. (When the entrance was on the other side and when there was only 1 big room) What happend and why is it disappeared? -_-"
Also on Rock Werchter there is an firm who rent lockers. (Dutch firm - Holland) The lockers are provided with keys and 24/24 protection. If FACTS would try that option, they can easily install them outside the building since they use a tent.
These are just idea's. I don't know if it's possible. But it would be great if it is. ^_^

sounds like a good idea...but organising stuff like this can be very hectic...
Maybe a special dressingroom with a lock?

Sure, and then you can start by giving all cosplayer a key to the dungeon as well, lol
Never leave expensive stuff behind or otherwise give it to your friends for safe keeping. Use cosplay badges for entry to the dressing room and one person at the door who has to check this.

I use a bag with a small lock on it to stuff my other costumes in... although that won't guarantuee no-one would steal it... My idea is to let someone guard the dressing room.. and only cosplayers can enter.. or sumthing.. (though people still can steal stuff....)

It would be awesome to have a system like Abunai: a room with a table in front of the door, visitors give their bag/cloak/cosplayprop/whatever to a staff member, they get a number and when you want to retreive your bag, you just give the number back x3 the only thing you need is a seperate room and 3 xtra staff members. Result: visitors are extremely happy :3333 *is in love with the cloakroom at abunai*

Why only for cosplayers? I'd very much appreciate an option (as described above), that you can give your jacket or whatever to a desk, receive a ticket and get it back afterwards. To me it's a very nice trip to ride with my bike, but walking inside with a thick motorcyclejacket is not really an option. Specially if it's very crowded. And isn't that what we all hope for? Many people. And I wouldn't even mind paying a bit extra for it.

I'm not saying it's only for cosplayers, I think 'normal' visitors should be able to benifit from this as well. ^^ I'd also like to give the example of Animecon (now that I've been there ^^) Animecon works with 2 room: a cloakroom and a bagroom. The difference? The bagroom is for really big suitcases and backpacks, while the cloakroom is meant for jackets and small bags. This way they are able to work pretty fast; visitors normally only have a small bag and jacket, while cosplayers tend to take a lot with them. By dividing them into 2 groups, they can provide fast service :3

Will we have lockers or an extra room this year? Because if we're using 2 halls, that means every locker would be available and dressing rooms will be for all eyes to see, which'll mean problemos. I liked the room last year, it was big and everyone could enter it but it still had some privacy and the lockers were nice.

saw on the map that there is a dressing room , so therfore there must be lockers :3 There will be NO lockers at FACTS. BUT a seperate coatroom next to the dressing rooms will be available for the cosplayers. You give your clothes, stuff,... to the responsable person of that coatroom, pay 1 Euro and you get a number. Easy as that. ;D

Then just use glue to keep it in place.

It'll have to be the year 3000 before I put a wig on. I don't mind a hat or mask, but wigs are just ewww to me. Same as putting on a costume for an official occasion or dressing up for some reason. I enjoy seeing people in costumes, but I dislike wearing it myself.
