Which movies would you like to see in the comform of a real movie seat ?
Just shoot off your suggestions, be it anime, science fiction, horror, cultmovies, whatever.
It just needs to be new movies (preferably never released in Belgium) and no top blockbusters (since they're hard to premiere in festivals).

depends of the guests, if u get Mamoru Oshii... then Avalon is a MUST ;D also Ghost in the Shell & Innocence!!!! Agree for Flash Gordon! A Star Wars or Indiana Jones night could be cool too. Try to organize somethin with Dario & Asia Argento pleaaaaaase, or other horror movies  thx |

I think projections are good idea.
which ones ? the movies needs to be in function of FACTS.
FACTS Themas are SciFi, Mangas, Medieval-Fantastic.
so, movies are there.
why not 3 LOTR long version in serial in one day ?
why not well known mangas or similar as "gloubiboulga nights" ?
why not old Sci-Fi in VO ?

why not Wonderful Day's? that's a korean animation film that was released in French theatres only a few weeks ago, but I didn't have the time to go to Lille and see it. It would be nice if we could see it here in Ghent during the Film Festival.

Every heard about the film "Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation"? It's a frame-by-frame remake of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (Indiana Jones!) made by 12 year old fans. And it took them 6 years to make!! The film has been big news in the US this year and is very popular at film festivals over there. And never been screened before in Europe. I would like a trailer session with for instance 5-minute promotrailers of movies like:
*Alien/Predator
*Zebraman
*Batman Begins
*Blade Trinity
*Excosrsit beginning
What also would be cool is to use the SMALL screen for showing old trailers of LaraCroft, Xmen, Troy, Spiderman, LOTR, Terminator, Species, Pitch Black, Blade, FastFurious... and manga related movies!!

You can also make hour-blocks where you do fantasy (LOTR), Cartoons (Garfield, Scoobidoo), SF (Species, Alien, Terminator) , comic (spiderman, xmen, hulk, batman), Horror (Cube, Ring), Disney (B&B, ToyStory, Bambi)...

some anime like Gundam (and there's plenty of things besides Gundam Wing... Endless Waltz movie is ok, but there's a lot of better movies, OAV or series...), Harlock (Albator for our french-speaking friends ...), some "scary" movies (I'd definitely appreciate a Evil Dead Trilogy ;D), Sci-Fi stuff like SW, ST (not that I like ST, but I know lotsa people who like it, so...) and SG-1 episodes( ) there could be a lot of things |

I want Battle Royale!!! Never cease to love this movie. And do the second movie as well, but don't be scared if everyone runs away after 10 minutes kuz it sux!!!
And what about a Rocky Horror Show? Yeehaa!!!
And about Howl's Moving Castle... heum... they were still working on it in november so... fat chance dear!
Mononoke has been seen too much, it is about the only anime that has been played in normal movie theatres,... so...
But isn't it a bit late to plan the projections now? How will you get the copies in time?
