I really like the pictures that were taking a facts this year, but I'm disappointed I got photoshopped without knowing... I just received an email and the person blamed me that my costume is not accurate... I asked what picture she was talking about and indeed, my skirt is photoshopped, making it no longer accurate!! I find it really disappointing to hear cosplayers get photoshopped... I mean, there's nothing wrong with photoshop IF it is accurate, if you don't know the costume, please don't start photoshopping!!! (the photographer must've thought my skirt turned, because my zipper was at the front, BUT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY!!!! )

Well, there will always be folks who think they know/ can do better. I've had comments on several of my costumes during the past few years, from people claiming I made errors. It lasts until I show them the reference material I've gathered, which shows the originals and those obviously can't be questioned in any way. What ultimately matters is that you like what you do yourself. With over 5 years of cosplay experience, I've seen plenty of frauds or know-it-alls and they usually don't last very long. Audiences can tell when someone has made a costume with commitment and they will respond to that. I only saw Rikku briefly, but for me there was no questioning that you wère Rikku, regardless of where your zippers were.

I think every cosplayer does is best for making a cool costume and they prove it every year. For those who complain, make your own costume and let see if your's will be so great.
