And the Andy Brown glassed guy picture link goes into 404. By the way, I've been wondering why the site is always stuck to the left side of my screen, instead of being nice and center. So I've taken a look at your xhtml/css. Why do you use absolute positioning? Is there perhaps a plugin or some object that requires so? Otherwise, perhaps you could try giving the body a class or id that centers things with 'margin: 0 auto;' I don't know if you'd like that, but I mostly prefer my sites centered.

FINALLY a new lay-out that last one was(to be completly honest) just Fugly and badly done. This one is a lot better ^^
But, I do have some things that annoy me in Firefox:
- the top alignment of "Nieuws - 10/08/2009" is 1px of compared to that of the menu left and the counter is 1px of compared to "Nieuws - 10/08/2009". - And wtf is with "Nieuwsbrief" ? I see scrollbars?
- the hover-over for the top menu is a bit off, I mean that when you hover over it with your mouse the menu shifts a bit, same in IE. You had this in the previous version as well.
- and this is personal but wouldn't it look better if you centered everything?
about the coding:
- do I see IFrame and tables in there?
- and wouldn't it be better to place the coding like this: header, left menu, main context and then right?

I think we can start working here. I jut blame it all to the absolute positioning, it's plain ass. And tables and IFrames aren't that bad, if they are functional. I didn't take my time to look the code into too much detail, since I have some other stuff I need to study still. xD

And wtf is with "Nieuwsbrief" ? I see scrollbars? This one is already solved. Hmm, but it seems two other problems then pop up for your forms. It would be odd if it only happened to me, but your form for the countdown and newsletter pretty much, don't want to show anymore. Or they are there, just overlapped by something else. Actually, don't you have a server somewhere where you can test the site on before uploading it? So there will be always a fully functional one on line. If you get it on line, it is also an interesting way to collaborate together on work.

Apparently, since all forms don't want to show up anymore. Someone messed up and put the input allowed off?

the Iframes for one need to dissapear to get that ow and get rid of the tables, but that isn't necessary to get the no HTML errors icon, right? And why didn't you use float instead of absolute?

IFrames, hmm, indeed, don't know why that would be used, will look into that. Have yet to need it. And I wouldn't nitpick every table out of it. As long as it's used as a table, like the poll and the guests for example. Otherwise, he can change the facebook, .... -table into just regular <br />'s and finish that that too. The language-links can be put next to eachother by using a span about them and creating some word-space or such. He will have to get the layout markups out of his code as well and change them into a class in css, like <center> will have to be exchanged for a class like .center{margin: 0 auto;} for boxes or text-align:center; for text. And indeed, absolute mostly makes developers shiver But it will take a while to switch everything from a absolute position into a float that is at the right place. So I suggest that is kept for a later date after facts, so he can concentrate on it.

Once again, thx a lot. iframe is necessary as it calls a coldfusion (dynamic) page. Indeed tables such as guests, polls will remain as they are what they are : tables. Ok I'll tackle on the facebook, ... table, language-links, lay-out marks tuff when I got time.
If I've got time I'll put a screenprint of the first factssite in 2001 by me. That one is ugly.
