20 years.. Well I heard next year FACTS will be in Flanders Expo's Hall 1. A great surprise would be some totally insane badass actors, and something "New" or "Fresh". Because FACTS is every year different, but you have to admit.. the basic activities remain the same?... I think it needs something NEW and uber exciting |

I think it needs something NEW and uber exciting That WOULD be absolutely awesome, and it might be a good chance to scale up and go flat-out. Hall 1 is huge and has a lot better atmosphere than the side halls (3/5/7) so if that's the case, I expect a lot of people will be going to FACTS. I don't know the exact visitor count, but if the trend continues we'll be battling with Dragon*Con and hit the 30K visitor mark. 20 years of FACTS could be a very good chance to invite some big stars and put some good effort into programming (not only cosplays and panels, but also workshops, parties, etc...) and maybe do some preliminary activities on the Friday evening. Keep up the good work! |

FACTS 2009 has finished barely one day ago, we're still very much into finalising all that has to be finalised and you're already spreading totally unfounded rumours. We haven't even thought about which halls we'll use next year (3&5 again or sth. else) and we DEFINITELY haven't considered renting hall 1 (which is 2.5 times bigger than what we had this year! not to mention VERY expensive!). So, please, stop saying such things because it creates totally unrealistic expectations! Thanks. |

I think workshops would be the best idea.
Like it was said in other topics, give the people something fun to watch/attend actively other then competitions.
