@graf: you have been doing research. Kudos! Oh, I heard of ... before as a comic creator, and I knew ... had a particularly interesting function in the company as well. "showing their wares" my guess/ hope; Chris Ware?? ..that would be awesome!!! Somehow I don't really see Ware as a F.A.C.T.S. guest... but, indeed, it would be SO awesome though... AND Charles Burns, and Sam Kieth, and Sienckiewicz, and Templesmith, and Gilbert Shelton, and... |

NEWSFLASH!!!!As of yesterday, Marvel have asked C.B. Cebulski, who already works with Marvel on a consultancy basis scouting for art talent, to step up to Marvel full-time and assume many of Chris Allo’s job responsibilties in addition to his own current talent management duties, while Marvel search for a permanent replacement. C.B. already has considerable weight with talent and editorial, and will keep scouting artists as part of the new job. C.B. Cebulski is now Marvel's SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CREATOR & CONTENT DEVELOPMENT!!! If that doesn't sound impressive, I don't know what does... ;D From the Newsarama article: Marvel Worldwide, Inc announced today that it has promoted C.B. Cebulski to Senior Vice President, Creator & Content Development of Marvel Entertainment.
In this new role, Mr. Cebulski will report to Jim Sokolowski, Chief Operating Officer - Publishing, Marvel Worldwide, Inc.
C.B. will discover, develop and nurture new talent, brainstorm new initiatives and advise on creative directions for Marvel’s key titles. In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Cebulski will work on creative aspects of development of larger corporate initiatives. The announcement was made today by Dan Buckley, Publisher & President of the Print, Animation & Digital Divisions, Marvel Worldwide, Inc. |
