Minck Oosterveer (19/07/1961) graduated as an art teacher. Despite growing up with European comic books, he soon became more interested in American comics. Oosterveer's work is heavily influenced by Milton Caniff, Alex Raymond and Will Eisner. Having done some work for studio Peter de Raaf on productions like 'Tom & Jerry', 'Sesamstraat' and 'Paddington', Minck started on 'Claudia Brücken' with Willem Ritstier. They also worked together on a daily newspaper comic 'Jack Pott', 'Zodiak' and 'Rick Rolluik'. In 2002 Oosterveer and Ritstier started a new comic series entitled 'Nicky Saxx', followed in 2007 by 'Trunk'. Minck also spearheads the second art team for the success-comic by Don Lawrence, "Storm". In Augustus 2008 Minck made his debut in US-comics via BOOM!-studios with “Zombie Tales #4: Zaambi", written by Chris Morgan. After this test Minck started on a new series, written by Mark Waid, named "The Unknown”. Visit the online portfolio van Minck oosterveer: www.minckoosterveer.com

I am a bit confused with the terms, the Elektra sketch you posted, is that a detailed bust sketch for which he charges 45 € or a convention sketch for free?

Due to 2 deadlines for this weekend, Minck has cancelled his presence at FACTS. He's really sorry not to be able to be there.

his words: "I hate This! The colorist for my western-cmic "Ronson inc." f**ked up my schedule by taking a week off without giving me notice. Now I have to cancel the F.A.C.T.S convention and work all weekend to get everything done in time"
