So anyways, in my school we're doing our final year project and we had to pick a theme that had to do with FASHION-TRENDS (Fashion, Trends, or both mixed, we could choose.)

So I picked Mongolian and Tibetan clothing. Now I was googling the interwebs for mongolian pictures and came across this one:



Apparently, this traditional Mongolian outfit is what inspired the people of Star Wars to make Queen Amidala's outfit:



I didn't know this before, so i'm quite surprised because it's such a traditional costume and it looks so futuristic when in star wars :'D.
