Do pre-sale advance tickets have an advantage?

Do pre-sale advance tickets have an advantage? Yes, avoid the long line of people waiting to buy their ticket at the door.

i don't think the line for the people who still gave to buy their ticket is going to be shorter than the one for the early birds, just go verry early if you still have to buy your ticket and don't want to wait long in line

I guess it must be me again, but considering the fact that buying your tickets in advance is actually more expensive than buying them the day itself, I see very little advantage. The only advantage would be that you can simply arrive at 10 and get in, instead of being there at 9 and wait a bit. Most events I know actually give you a discount when you buy your tickets in advance. Asking for a reservation fee seems a bit cheap to me. And why is the reservation fee for an early bird ticket higher than for a regular ticket? I'm (still) against the concept of an early bird ticket, but this doesn't make sense to me either. It seems like, hey, if you're willing to pay double the price, you probably don't mind paying even more. I think it would have been more useful to finally come up with a weekend ticket.

Hence the reason why I'm only buying my early bird. On sunday, the line is different, it's not as uber crowded as saturday. I stood in line for 30 last year and I even came later than expected. The waiting is nice. (if it's not raining of course)

Asking for a reservation fee seems a bit cheap to me. And why is the reservation fee for an early bird ticket higher than for a regular ticket? Well, we're working with an external partner which saves us a lot of time. And instead of checking all the names for the Early Birds the saturday morning, now I will just have to scan the unique tickets. Of course they don't this for free, hence the reservation fee (which is common practice when one reserve tickets online). The difference of this fee depends on the price of tickets (check www.mijnevent.be/nl/default/pages/view/page-id/6) The Early Birds are selling faster than last year. And also regular tickets seem to be a succes. weekendticket = buy 2 tickets ;D. Easy as that.

Yes, a weekend ticket (finally) should be a useful addition to the list. Normally advance tickets are cheaper then on-the-day tickets. It's a pity that buying them in advance seems to cost more. It isn't certain that with a pre-sale ticket you will be in there sooner: the long waiting line in mind, you still need to be able to get to the door (without people thinking you're not following the rules i.e. waiting your turn to get in - guess there will also people who don't know about the pre-sale) - and if they block the way (it happens!).... Anyway, look forward to this edition.

I definiately agree with the ''weekend ticket'' idea Yep, me too. Me three ;D If I understand correct it seems that a ticket for Saturday is the same as for Sunday (assuming with an unique code). When you come both days, buy 2 tickets, OK. But wouldn't it have been easier to have different looking tickets for both days? Although it can have advantages.... when you're leaving early and don't have to take a decent look at the entrance ticket... just take 1 and GO!. It's coming closer.....

I guess on Friday and maybe even on Saterday. You get an almost instant email which you print out and need to take it with you.
