FACTS 2010 FINAL PROGRAM

The 20th edition of FACTS will be a blast! Growing with another whopping 50 % compared to last year, we now cover more than 12.000 m2. In that vast space you'll be able to discover the following areas:

DEALERS ZONE.

More than 150 dealers occupying over a kilometer of dealer tables. You'll find a vast range of goodies (DVD's, toys, comics, manga, anime, collectibles, posters, books, overstock, rare items, etc.) sold by individuals, shops, producers, fanclubs and more. Whether you need that final Holy Grail to complete your collection or bargain hunting is your hobby, FACTS 2010 is the place to be!

ACTORS AREA.

Have we got a fantastic line up for you! We're indeed extremely proud to welcome top actors and actresses from the likes of KRISTANNA LOKEN (the female Terminator who kicked Schwarzenegger's butt in Terminator 3, but also known for Painkiller Jane, the L-Word & Bloodrayne), BILLY DEE WILLIAMS (alias Lando Carlissian in The Empire strikes back & Return of the Jedi); DIRK BENEDICT & DWIGHT SCHULTZ (Face & Murdock from the cult tv-series The A-Team, but who also starred individually in series like Battlestar Galactica & Star Trek: the Next Generation); MARK SINGER (known as Mike Donovan from V, but also as the one and only Beastmaster); ROBERT PICARDO (an Emmy nominated actor known for his starring roles in Stargate, Castle and Star Trek: Voyager), cult favorite JEWEL STAITE (Firefly, Stargate), horror icon DOUG BRADLEY (Pinhead himself!). We'll also have four actors from the cult comedy series 'Allo 'Allo (courtesy of http://www.dutchstarcon.nl), the director of the Belgian cult movie The Afterman and more!

All actors will be present both days. You'll be able to meet them, get their autograph (autographs will be charged at the guests' discretion), get your photo taken at the official photoshoots, etc. Don't miss this opportunity to meet your idol!

Oh, and the we did mention we'll have a replica A-Team VAN and A-Team Corvette as well?

We're equally proud to present you with some top talents from the comics world. How about DAVE GIBBONS (artist for WATCHMEN, but also for Judge Dredd, Doctor Who and more), FRANK CHO (the Hulk, Liberty Meadows), ROMANO MOLENAAR (Storm, Bloodrayne, Lady death, X-Men and our very own poster artist), GREG CAPULLO (Spawn, Angela, Haunt), BRANDON PETERSON (X-Men, Strange, Witchblade, etc.), renowned fantasy artist ANNE STOKES, ADRIEN FLOCH (Ythaq), IAN CHURCHILL (Superman, Batman, Supergirl, Marineman, etc.), ADAM (Game Over).

Most artists will be present on both days (check out the aforementioned link for exact days) and will be signing and drawing throughout the day.

And of course no FACTS edition would be complete without our favourite cartoon artist LECTRR!

Also in the Artist Alley you will have a chance to get a profesional picture taken if you are a cosplayer of one of the artists. The photo of you and the creator will be able to enter an after-FACTS competetion and the best picture will be turned into a 40*60 print for the cosplayer who won.

FAN VILLAGE.

Wander through this magical village where 16 different clubs present their passion. You'll be able to see people in disguise, admire life size props, play games, meet people and have a great time.

There will be lots of all day events, like:

- Cosplayer fotoshoots at the Red Cathedral booth
- Star Wars acting sessions at Power Wars booth
- Larp-event in the Games Room
- Course Elfish writing at the Elanor booth
- and many more!

The Elanor booth will feature schmink and hairdressing sessions at different times (10-12, 14-15, 16-17). A great way to discover LOTR!

STAGE.

The stage will once again host our cos' play competition. We now have even more space so everyone is sure to get a great view on the very best cos' players around. The cos' play competition will start on both days at 2 PM. Be sure not to miss this unique event!

GAME ZONE.

Gamers, beware! FACTS 2010 will host a huge Game Zone with loads of consoles, competitions, special prices and much much more.

To start off with, the Game Zone will feature booths from top industry names like Sony PlayStation, Nintendo, SEGA, Ubisoft, Microsoft and Square-Enix! Furthermore, Eurogamer and Pushstart will both offer you the possibility to play on dozens of consoles and PC's all throughout the weekend.

You'll be able to play absolute topgames like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (multiplayer version!); Michael Jackson The Experience; Just Dance II; Vanguish; Starcraft II (3D); Gran Turismo 5 (3D); Professor Layton and The Unwound Future; Shaun White Skateboarding (3D) and many more. All these games will be fully playable!

Sony PlayStation will demonstrate its latest PlayStation Move games and in their 3D corner you can experience 3D for yourself. There will a Dance Dance Revolution booth with even an exclusive preview of the new Kinect DDR!

But that's not all! Ubisoft will organise goodie hunts, you'll get a free DS update for Dragon Quest IX (so make sure to bring your DS along to the Nintendo booth!), Nintendo will offer some great Mario prices, Sony will hand out flyers to win exclusive GT5 prices and much much more!

CATERING ZONE.

It goes without saying that the catering zone will host a wide choice of food and drinks.

Be sure to taste a beer from our main sponsor, Cuvée des Trolls. The FACTS-crew tested it and fully approves it!

AFTERPARTY.

There will once again be a FACTS afterparty on Saturday evening in Twieoo. Be sure to be there for the party of the year!

I can only say: WOW . I'm amazed at the whole program. I think its safe to say that the 20th edition of Facts, will be the best, and one for the history books. This is why I won't sleep this week, because I'm too stoked . I hope I'll see you all in person next week!

Amazing program. But so many things to do, so few time.

Want to meet the actors and artists( so many as possible). Want to go to the actors Q&A's and photoshoots.
Make as many pics of cosplayers. Gamezone, fanvillage,...

Really like the after contest for the cosplayers. Do we NURD's get the chance to help decide the winner?

YES, if you buy a signature, you can get a quick picture.

Nice program with some great firsts (SGU season 1 DVD, now THAT's amazingly fast!), like GT5 in 3D, demos of Kinect and other cool stuff in the game zone. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to have a major blast.

I hope the Q&A program will hold up as it is now. 30 minutes for a guest, including changeovers is pretty tight. Then again, we're professionals here. ;D

BTW: When does the structural misspelling of 'cosplay' end?
