people often arrive 2-1 hour before opening (if they don't have an early bird ticket) because alot of people visit facts and the waiting can be longer if you arrive later. But i never really heard complaints about the waiting time. Plus, cosplayers are nice enough to greet people who are waiting in line (when you have an early bird you can go in 45 minutes in advance, so after some get in, buy their stuff, put the bags away, they can go out to greet the other people who still have to wait (i did it this year xD))
