Keu started drawing at a very young age, influenced by comic book and fantasy artists such as Marc Silvestri, Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane, Boris Vallejo and Frank Frazetta. With almost no formal art training except for the encouragement of one caring art instructor, Keu bypassed art school for a job in comic books, honing his skills as a penciler on top selling titles such as Rising Stars, Witchblade, Tomb Raider and The Darkness for Top Cow Productions. In December 1999 Keu was named a Top Ten artist of the month by Wizard, the comic industry’s leading monthly magazine. He has created digital illustrations for use in movie posters (Hulk, Monster House, Pulse, American Gangster, Daybreakers, Punisher, Repo Man and Pacific) and video game key art (Spawn, Ultimate Band, Lego Rock Band, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Wanted, Armored Core). Keu’s theatrical poster and video game keyart work has been nominated for industry awards. His key art illustration on Activision’s Marvel Ultimate Alliance won the gold award for Advertising Key Art at the MI6 Awards in 2007. Marking his return to comics, Keu will pencil two issues of Magdalena for Top Cow and simultaneously work on his first creator-owned series, Hex: The Lost Tribe. Hex is the creative culmination of Keu’s artistic journey over the last 15 years.

Can you also post with each artist who is going to a) do sketches b) Commissions only c) will only sign? It helps preparing and I do not want to buy an early bird, get in line and discover after 1 -2 hours that he will only do commissions or just a signature. THX

harry: working on that. But this year expect all artists ready and willing and able. I have yet to see a message which surprised me like last year! moony: not this year. Lessons learned and such. He did have the visa for Belgium but not for the UK in which the switching of planes was, I believe. Not this year though

"Shall we see to that at the convention? " Thing is: when queing up I like to know in advance if the guy does sketches before a) paying an Early Bird ticket b) waiting in line for 90 minutes to realize that C9 the guy does just commissions or sign only.

he will do sketches. Surely! He is human however and how a quickie will turn out depends on some human influences
