As the topic says, I'm looking for someone who's planning on going to Fedcon in 2012. I probably won't go myself because it's rather far, entrance is expensive, it's getting rather close to my exams and the guest list isn't that interesting so far (and I'll probably attend 2 other cons that month). So why would I ask? There are actually 2 guests that do interest me and I was hoping that someone wouldn't mind to get a signed picture for me as well when standing in line. Of course I'll repay you and perhaps I can return the favor when I myself am going to another con. You can PM me if you'd like to help ;D I know we're not allowed to talk about other cons, but I got permission  |

Question, since I never went to fedcon. How does it work with the guests? Can you take a picture with them? I'm guessing it'll be the same as Ringcon (which I did attend this year). When it comes to photo's it's the same way as F.A.C.T.S. nowadays. You can purchase photoshoot tickets, but aren't allowed to pose with the guests for free at their table. |

Turns out I'll probably be going myself anyway, they booked some great guests. I should get my driver's licence though, going by train is such a drag.

I'll always stay loyal too, no chance in hell that I'm ever gonna miss a F.A.C.T.S. edition As for Fedcon, at first it was just Carrie Henn (cause Aliens is one of my favorite films). But now that Casper Van Dien, Erick Avari, Nicholas Brendon and Joe Flanigan are coming... I think I'm going down there myself |

Haha thanks Yeah, she works as a school teacher and all that. Still Newt was awesome! ^^ Always found it hard to believe why they decided to kill off someone so loveable as Newt in Alien³. She could easily have taken up an equal enigmatic role as Ripley. That's why I always liked the Aliens comics prior to Alien³ where she continued to live. It's really rare to play an important role in only a movie and that without any filmexperience prior to it and quitting cinema after making it. |

Well, there are 6 years between Aliens and Alien 3, so Carrie Henn would've been too old. I guess they could've recast the character and it doens't explain why Biehn's character doesn't return. I think it happens often with child stars, making movies and combining education is rather hard and Hollywood's not a great place for kids. |
