True Blood is an American television drama series created and produced by Alan Ball. It is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of novels by Charlaine Harris, and details the co-existence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, a fictional small Louisiana town. The series centers on Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), a telepathic waitress at a bar, who falls in love with vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer). www.hbo.com/true-blood/index.html#/true-blood/about/index.html aired by hbo this is definitely a series intended for an adult audience as it contains lots of violence and nudity. 1st season is out on dvd in belgium,currently the series is running in its 3th season and will be renewed for a 4th season. |

true blood is really awesome! i seend everything. only the last espisode form the third season..

I only just saw the first season, first i didn't recognize who Sookie was, but then it popped into my brains : Rogue from the X-men. They (HBO) have done it again, they made another amazing serie after Rome. Realy looking forward to the next episodes |

Finished the first season and thought it was awesome. For some reason though, I really can't stand Sookie.

True Blood is just great. It has everything a good show needs. I just have seen started watching the first season (i'm now at episode 7) and i already love it.

I love true blood! I've also read the books the seires is based on and it would be amazing to meet actors from the show. Eric (Alexander skarsgard) would be amazing. But any of them would be great. If they'd invite John Billingsley they'd get true blood AND star trek fans in one go. And me double happy. (Even though I was traumatized by seeing Dr. Phlox naked.)

the last finale was just again... amazing!! Bill is finally the truest of wackjobs though I did love the fact that this season so much focus was on the shapeshifters! |
