Hi,

I'm a realy great fan of saint seiya. I have all the manga's in comic form;

What do you think about saint seiya g? Is it worthy to buy? I saw the comics at the striep (Bruges) for 9euro/piece.

I like them, though I had to struggle through part one, which isn't all that great.
The main problem is the artwork, which is really impressive, but unfortunately so detailed that the page becomes far too busy and sometimes almost unreadable. This is one manga that would have profited by a larger, European format.

The storyline, as any prequel, does pose some problems as to continuity compared with the original manga. But on the plus side, you get a lot more background details on what daily life and culture inside the Sanctuary must really be like, plus the Saints' attacks are explained in far greater detail.

You might also save your money for "Next Dimension", which is a new Saint Seiya manga drawn by Kurumada himself, and takes place in the 18th century, during the previous war against Hades. It'll start to appear in Japan from next month on.

I have the complete SAINT SEIYA manga's and also ALL the episodes on DVD and i was OBLIGED to have these SAINT SEIYA episode G, in the beginning as you wrote it was sometimes VERY busy, but i got a little bit used of it and started to like it, and wil be very pleased to start this NEXT DIMENSION.
Also a friend of mine has a full color manga book about the ERIS movie, he told me that was rare.

The last manga from SAINT SEIYA i've bought was the Next dimension, can you imagine, after so many years FINALY we've got a manga FULLY in colour, not only a few pages but completly, awesome.

Also i can't get enough of SAINT SEIYA the lost canvas
