Yesterday was revealed that Chris Evans will be playing Captain America in 'The First Avenger: Captain America'. Chris Evans is most known for his role has 'The Human Torch' from 'the Fantastic Four'. So what are your thoughts about him playing Captain America? Since he already plays a Marvel character? There were 6 other actors in the running beside Chris Evans. One of them being Alexander Skarsgård (wich I would have preferred). Well the point about him being both Captain America and The Human Torch is that Fox owns F4, Spiderman and Daredevil movie rights, so theyre not in the same "universe" as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor etc.
And Fantastic Four will be rebooted anyways.
Mark Valley was rumored and also John Krasinski.
Mark Valley has to play a superhero someday, just look at his face (especially his chin)
And even though I like John Krasinski (Jim from the Office US), I didn't see Captain America (the size of his ears aren't the main reason, but they certainly don't help; he can't wear the capt's cap)
Matt Damon could have done it if you ask me or WWE's John Cena.
I'm just glad that the DiCaprio rumor that went around passed quickly...

of all the names they were apparently considering Evans is by far the best xD he's come far from the guy who had a banana up his ass in not another teen movie lol about mark valley: the chin doesn't make a good superhero (actor), just look at george clooney for instance  |

Clooney looked good as Batman and acted good as Bruce Wayne, but he didn't look like Bruce Wayne and was a mediocre Batman.
(plus you can't blame him for what Schumacher did) (wich wasn't even that horrible in my opinion)

That was the worst of all Batman films imho  not counting West's campy Batman I normally like Clooney but he's not even a mediocre Bruwe Wayne or Batman Kilmer may have had poorly written and played villains but at least his acting was good |
