Is there anyone who have watched Stargate Universe? And what you think about it? Because of what I heard, I think I won't be spending my time on it. Until someone can change my minds of it. I don't want to look at something that will ruïn the Stargate franchise. Or I just can give the first season a try. Well, I don't like it. Give the first season a try, maybe you will like it... but I don't... Why didn't you like it? Me too, I plan to start watching it when the DVD of the first season comes out. I definitely can recommend Caprica, the prequel to Battle Star Gallactica although it is somethinf completely different.

I can say there were in my opinion at least three episodes witch wore a Little exiting ...so , every time i did look because i toughed it would get better , it was a disappointment!! maybe the second season will be wort calling Stargate!!

Stargate Universe is too dramatic, and as we all know Stargate: normaly Stargate is adventure and fun... well, Universe is not that. It's just drama. Even the sf-drama serie Battlestar Galactica is better. I liked that... but Stargate Universe is not Stargate anymore. I hope they learn of this mistake, because there are complaints all over the world. So let's hope season 2 will change everything and become adventure and fun again. Yes, I will watch the 5 first episodes of season 2 and hope it will be Stargate again..

Don't count on it - they will continue in the same way because TPTB believe they are doing the right thing. I haven't watched SGU and I won't unless I'm really really really really really ... really really really bored. My sister saw the whole of season 1, apart from the times she fell asleep during every episode.

Haven't seen a thing of SGU... and when I read the comments I'm not sure or I will. I just love SG1 and SGA but as with every spin-off it's something different. Maybe when it comes out on DVD I'll give it a try.... if I ever finish all the other series I still have to watch (and movies).
Favorite SF (randomly): Star Trek TOS ST Enterprise ST Voyager ST DS9 ST TNG (still have to watch the complete series) Stargate SG1 Stargate SGA Quantum Leap Battlestar Galactica The X-Files Angel (got the box, saw some episodes in TV and thought to give it a go).

But unlike SGU, they don't use the name BSG. So I don't mind it be different. But SGU?

It's great, man! Try to see an episode, and you will be addicted to it! When it comes out in "real cool prize" categorie. I mean: 1 season is 2 parts.... it's like with others series (like CSI) and I don't like it that you have to buy 2 boxes to have 1 serie.... anyway, still have to much too watch already. Well, was in the MM the other day and saw "Supernatural" for less then 10€/part.... but it seemed not every part was still there (or I overlooked ). So maybe next time Anyway, still have A LOT to watch anyway....

V season 1 gets better and better. Season 2 will be HUGE!
because Jane Badler will appear in the season premiere as Anna's mother called Diana, but it won't be the Diana we all know.
I am currently watching Star Trek The Next Generation, finished watching Enterprise (series finale was awful).
What's next for me: -Star Trek Deep Space Nine -Babylon 5 -Quantum Leap -maybe Andromeda (which will be aired on the same channel as SG1 and SGA, in France)

I have bought all eps of Star Trek Deep Space Nine and I can only say that these episodes are still as great as the day they premiered on the telly. Man I love that show. The writing is so well (in my opinion) and there's so many lovable characters and villains!
DS9 is my absolute fav... Yup.

I just devored the series of Enterprise, Scott Bakula (Quatum Leap's dr. Sam Becket) is really awesome as capt. Jon Archer. In my opinion it's a great shame they had to cancel the show and end badly abrupt As for V, who didn't love the original series with the lezards Looking forward to the new version I'm wondering if the Sarah Connor chronicles are worth to see ?

I'm wondering if the Sarah Connor chronicles are worth to see ? it's quite good really (not outstanding or remarkable, but good) and it has Summer Glau, that has to count for something

It was only shoot 'em up episodes. But it really got better in the seconfd half of the series. Summer Glau is indeed a reason to watch the show but it was great to see Brian Austin Green again in a good role. Too bad the show cancelled after only 2 seasons.

I absolutely lOVE TTSCC, and never watched a single Terminator film. =P
I started watching for Summer Glau and was never disappointed, except when they cancelled it and left us hanging with a gigantic cliffhanger.

I was hoping for a non cliffhanger ending it's so annoying when that happens, still countless of other examples that suffered the same fate.

I have watched one episode and a half of Andromeda : I just can't stand it! The special effects, the scripts, the characters, the music, I'm not attached, I'm not addicted at all!
(The only good thing in this show is the ship : Andromeda Ascendant, absolutely wonderful).
I keep continue to watch The Next Generation (Star Trek) : I'm nearly at half of the season 1 and right now, I find some great episodes, but not all.
I've recently bought DS9 (at very interesting prices!) of seasons 2 and 7.
Enterprise series finale was awful, really awful, but the previous episode "Demons" is absolutely well written and performed (special mentions to : Scott Bakula for the most magnificent speech in the Star Trek saga, Jolene Blalock and Connor Trinneer for their touching and heartbreaking performances)

In my opinion it's a great shame they had to cancel the show and end badly abrupt ? I gonna start the 5th (and last ) Season of Quantum Leap one of these days. Just had to see them after watching "Enterprise", which I like and was cancelled way too soon. Or maybe I better wacht a few episodes of Voyager again....

bad news for all the V fans, ABC reduced the second season by 3 episodes. So there will only be 10 episodes. ABC's been pulling a few stunts with V (second season got delayed and the first season was also reduced by one episode) so many people are expecting V to be cancelled after it's second season. Sucks
