Yeah, its just a Shameless "look what i have" thread  This is a Real Movie Prop, from the Stargate Continiuum Movie. I won it with a Competition a couple months ago. Its not a replica, its a real used Staff weapon. Its a bit damaged on the bottom and it is really heavy   |

Yeah i've won the GUNK contest, they gave some Zat's and communicators away also But this was the grand price  selling, no not really i've looked it up on the net. Original set piece like this, goes for 1100 dollar in the shops. Am glad that sometimes a piece like this goes to a fan of the series and it doesn't land on ebay  |

I'd let him sign it in a whim. I wouldn't even need to think about it.
I have a set of replica dogtags of BSG - Athena's. If I ever get the chance to meet Grace, she must sign those for sure.

Can't believe it  But I suppose there is nothing we can do about it.  I don't understand: if you don't really want the price(s) that you can win why compete? To get money out of it? (hm, it won't be for me if I see the price he asks for it) If I don't want to win the offered prices I don't compete ... Especially since it is the "grand prize".... it's just NOT fair. (I know of a few people who would have loved to win it and KEEP it as they are true fans of SG1) I'm glad with what I won and can't wait to receive the DVD-box as it wasn't available at the convention .... hope it won't take too long as I really look forward to watch it. |

Yeah i think similar. When you know you don't want it, don't compete. I even go a step further, i don't drink alcohol but sometimes a Beer Company gives away nice prices. I just don't compete, coz it would be very ironic of me ( a non-alcohol drinker) winning a price of a beer company. |
