Kinda hard to say wich one I prefer the most. When it comes to the villain then "Into darkness" wins no doubt. Chemistry between charcters I would say the first one.

Would be great if instead of making a third movie immediately now, they would first make a 5 season series. Since at the end of the movie they depart on a 5 years mission to the unknown. And while exploring the galaxy have some confrontations with the Klingons. And then with the third movie have a full war between The Federation and the Klingon Empire.

And a tv show would be great with those actors. (Would be a remake but you never know it could work) i would give it a chance
