Was there demand for a Japanese Village at FACTS?
Except the anime / manga I don't really see the connection with FACTS.

Was there demand for a Japanese Village at FACTS? Except the anime / manga I don't really see the connection with FACTS. There was indeed a big demand (on anime/manga related sites & fora for more focus on the Japanse culture and more activities. We try to please our visitors. ;D |

an immense amount of manga fans and manga cosplayers come to FACTS every year and they are a cool bunch of people who can hopefully be pleased by such a targetted event!

the japanese village was a great addition to a wonderful con.
especially the kodo drummers seemed to have alot of succes.

Although there where quite annoying for the artists and when they did projections. Just 4 the artists...You should have seen the frown disapear from the shop keepers when the drums stopped. They can play a mean drum i'll give them that. But talk about bad location. Put them on a stage. Or in a different room along with the rest of the live japanees geography lesson. ;D If any music i would expect some movie scores to play. Background. Has more in common with the whole facts theme. |

the drums were annoying, no offence. I went all around that room and couldn't pinpoint where the hell they were, until I finally walked past them when they weren't playing.
Also anybody has a recording of them cuz I'd like to see them in action.
