Let start the announcements with a blast : please welcome Charlie Adlard Charlie Adlard was born in 1966 in Shrewsbury,UK. He attended art college in Maidstone, Kent, to study film and video. He began his work in the UK with White Death and 2000 AD series including Judge Dredd, and Armitage and the series Savage. In the United States he is best known for his work on The X-Files, Astronauts in Trouble and The Walking Dead. On the cult series The Walking Dead, he replaced Tony Moore from issue #7 onward and is dedicating all his time on this title, which is gaining tremendous momentum as it also is airing as a television series. The Walking Dead premiered on October 31, 2010 on the cable television channel AMC in the United States. Two episodes into the second season, AMC announced that the show would return for a third season. Other work include Mars Attacks!(Topps), The Hellfire Club Warlock, Batman: Gotham Knights (Marvel) ,Green Lantern / Green Arrow (DC), Hellblazer (DC), The Crow (KSP) and Shadowman (Acclaim). With writer Joe Casey he collaborated on “Codeflesh and Rock Bottom” which Adlard himself called “some of his strongest writing and my strongest work (for the time anyway)”… During the years, his style evolved from fully painted artwork to the use of lots of black ink on the page to create shadow effects. He appeared as cameo (zombie) in the pilot of the Walking Dead

small sketches for free and signing of comics for free. No commissions. I know a lot of people will be dissapointed, but I love this approach. This means I can get a sketch without having to stand in line for 2 days.

This means I can get a sketch without having to stand in line for 2 days. Due the the massive success of The Walking Dead, this is indeed the best approach to satisfy the most people. Although small sketches will be free, it could be that a comic of the Walking Dead should be bought (still to be determined) in order to obtain a sketch. Signatures will be given for free on comics but a limited amount (probably 10) will be set. About the signatures. We'll have to find out what the best approach for this will be. It could be that we schedule like 2 or 3 times a day some slots of 30 minutes in which he'll do only signatures. So people who only want sigs can arrive a bit for the time slot begins. All info will be available a month before the convention.

It will be one of the must haves of the weekend. And we'll keep a part to be sold on sunday so that sunday-visitors also can have a chance to buy it.
