Draco would answer : Longbottom, if Brains were gold, you would be poorer than Weasley, and that's saying something

Pretty thrilled to meet Felton. Even though I'll probably have a beer with him the weekend before FACTS at RingCon (together with Ms. Carpenter), I still think Tom is a great guest to have at a convention like FACTS.
Also, keep in mind that he's not only Draco Malfoy, but he's had numerous roles in film and theatre and, most recently, as one of the antagonists in "Rise of The Planet of the Apes" alongside Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings / King Kong).
Aside from that, I just gloat because I was right all along. Does anybody see me gloat? ;D

Good god. Tell me how much a photo or autograph will cost.

And I wasn't planning on going this year. Why is that? You have been a loyal visitor during the recent editions.

speaking of fangirls : some advice ( and sorry for nagging) but this guest will draw a crowd ( the crazy harry potter fangirls , they move in vast numbers) that will never have been to a con like FACTS before (wich is good for FACTS because hopefully they will become regulars) and will not know that they will have to pay for an auto of their idol. so please mark it very clearly at the beginning of the line the amount to pay for his auto. because it will be total chaos when its only marked at his table. imagine a few 8 year old girls going to the table and then realizing they need to pay for autographs. I recenlty had a harry Potter guest in my hometown for a tv show (weirdly enough it was Jason Isaacs) and i have seen those fangirls in action, they are quite mad lemme tell ya.

Yes, please let them know beforehand! AND make sure there is enough space for the line, since it WILL be huge! (and nothing is as irritating to have a line go through other parts of a convention...)

Maybe something like they did with JCV. Limited number of autographs for each day. Were you need to "pre-order" them.

Yes, please let them know beforehand! AND make sure there is enough space for the line, since it WILL be huge! (and nothing is as irritating to have a line go through other parts of a convention...) I can only hope someone attending FACTS as a 8-10-12-year-old would have enough supervision from their parents and they should at least know what they're doing.... And yes, queues can be a problem, especially with a major guest like Felton, but realistically, the only thing you can do is wait. We've had major guests at FACTS before (e.g. van Damme) and it's never been a very big problem. The only issue may be people getting impatient. ;D I am, however, in favor of having a virtual queueing system (like the Early Bird tickets) for people who pay for autographs and photo shoots in advance. They can get a ticket number at the event and the numbers would be called out (e.g. "Ticket numbers 300 through 450, you can now get your photo/autograph), so you don't have to waste time waiting for hundreds of people in front of you. You will know the approximate time you're expected to get an autograph or photo. The system works similar to the FastPass system in Disney theme parks and has proven to be effective at other major conventions as well.

And I believe we don't have the time to get into a little chat with him. I think I will go Sunday for Tom Felton, when their are lesser people on FACTS. Saturday is always the busiest day of the weekend.

And I believe we don't have the time to get into a little chat with him. Not to burst your bubble or anything, but that's not what the guests are for at FACTS. Sure, if they can find the time, they will be happy to have a chat during the signing, but their main purpose is to make money by selling autographs.

You'd be surprised at what some people would be disappointed about... especially if they've never been around actors before and are new to the convention world, and even more so if they are absolutely and utterly crazy about their 'idol'. Mind you, the jokes actors make about signing certain items or body parts are taken from their own experience. Some fans want some crazy stuff, and in that respect we're lucky to be in Europe. ;D
