so now the T in FACTS stands for (I love) Techno LOL
will all halls be used?
and about entrance fee, compare to Japan Expo in Paris, (they grew exponentially in only 10 years) and still have reasonable entrance fees (33 euro for 4 days ), free signatures (yippie, & tons of free hugs as well LOL) loads of space and a more elaborate variant of the Early Bird ticket (which are hard to get, even though there are more than 1000 of them! and most expensive ticket is 100 euro for 4 days, with breakfast and lots of goodies)

were just merely belgium, . Size of a country never matered before. (look at luxembourg or switzerland). Belgium is know for a lot of unique qualities. The name pops up each year more frequently then a person would think, in international places. (documontairies, tv shows, even soaps (lol), magazines, etc)

I never talked about the size, when I said merely Belgium, I meant we don't have what it takes, in the ways of anime and such, to make it happen, france has ANIME on tv, and we have (now there's a change with the death note thingy but still) pokemon, and all the others, so it's not very known, in france more people know anime, because it's been on tv for ages.

In my good old days, when I was young.... Like 10 years back, I remember getting up early every sunday to watch Rurouni Kenshin on VT4 (Just for the bloodshed, I was too young to understand all that edo period crap). And I have happened to notice Bleach one time at some tv-channel called MCM on last christmas.... It was the episode with almost nude Yoruichi in hot spring, so they were pretty advanced in the story already. Actually, what was this topic about again?

Yes, i experienced the same thing like Totsuya. Stand up early (like 7), just to not miss the cool animes and cartoons on sunday. Rush home from school or just plainly video tape the animes that were aired between 14h and 17h during schooldays.
From what i still remember: Gundam Wing and Gundam ... well there were 2 different kinds aired. Rurouni Kenshin i still got taped on video tape from my old days haha. It was also around that time they started airing the beginning of DBZ (when he was still young and flying on his cloud). I also remember vaguely seeing other animes about children playing the headrole. But myeah it's been 10 years. Forgive me for getting old. HAHA
And later of course the good ones started disappearing and things like pokemon, Yu Gi oh, Digimon, DBZ (later versions)... came. Some were still good of course. And well it ended with the series (that i never really watched, too old for it and i think it's more for the 10 - 15 aged kids) like bleyblade. It was always about some kind of small pocket sized robot. Were it one that could shoot balls the size of a wallnut or small ones that actually could move and fight.
I think the ones you latexstrawberry, others and even me would like to see, wont be aired soon. They might have aired it 10 years ago if interest was shown back then. It has only been for a few years that interest in anime and manga has been getting a larger. And at some point, we are at a disadvantage since we are a small country that is split up in 3 languages.

there was Tekkaman on VT4 as well, but Belgium is more than Flanders alone, the french side has different TV channels with more (recent) anime (besides, the english dubs arent all that, maybe I'm just saying that since I grew up with Club Dorothée & co)
and if I'm not wrong, Jim TV airs Death Note every Thursday ^_^
TMF Holland had Cowboy Bebop as well (why not TMF Belgium >_< )

there was, used to,... that's all in the past, I also remember Rurounin kenshin, Ninja robots etc. but now it's all commercial, hanna montana, those nuts cartoons,.... times have changed, the only reason JIM shows death note on tv is because they probably have realized that there are enough people interested so they don't lose a lot of money.
But this is going too much offtopic,
I'm glad we are moving to a bigger location, probably more room to move, more space for a game room,... and I think a lot of people will be happy about that. Happy people => more people next year.

Hmmmm yeah speaking of placement of things. Maybe it's too much asked, but is the setup of where everything is going to be already arranged? And if so, could you give us a quick scoop of what will be where? If there only will be 2 rooms rent of, i'm just curious about placement and also if there will be possibilities that problems from the past will come back.

tell me more, because most problems (heat, changeroom, overcrowding) are tackled by sheer expansion of the available room Well there were complaints about the gaming room and the cosplay acts being too close to eachother, sound problems. Also the space between stands were in some rooms a bit too small in the past. (if someone with a poofy dress, giant costume or just a not so thin body were standign there you had to either wait for them to finally move or go around). Food, drinks area? Things that people have complained about and was solved or complaints still going on. I'm concerned about if they will reappear on our new location. Also, gief map! ^^ If you're done thinking where stuff is going to be placed.

Oh crap. Just realizing that the FACTS weekend is the same as the 'Metal Female Voice Fest' weekend. I hope that next year FACTS will be again on the second weekend, so I can go next year to 'Metal Female Voice Fest'.

not to whine or anything = / I was like oh yeah they're at Expo woot so much space, but you only use 2 halls? That's less than "beestjes & baasjes", they also had the main hall and 2 sidehalls, and there I already said there wasn't much to see and just curious about how you're going to locate all the activities (cosplay/gameroom/shops/cafetaria/stargate incase there is one again/...)
